HERITAGE OTTAWA

Registration is now open for the Ontario Heritage Conference taking place in Ottawa from June 8 - 10.

This year's conference theme is Canada 150: The Past, Present and Future of Heritage Conservation.

Sessions take place at Ottawa City Hall and will cover a range of rural and urban heritage issues. Optional activities will include walking tours hosted by Heritage Ottawa, and a bus tour to the Moore Farm and Strutt House in Gatineau hosted by the National Capital Commission.

The three-day event kicks off with a cocktail reception at the new Global Centre for Pluralism and concludes with a gala dinner at the Canadian Museum of Nature featuring a keynote presentation by architect Barry Padolsky.

The annual conference, hosted by a different city or town in Ontario each year, typically attracts heritage professionals, activists and enthusiasts from across the province.
