Join Heritage Ottawa on a special day-long field trip to historic Almonte and Carp!

Our bus trip offers two fascinating guided tours, the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum in Almonte, where we’ll learn about the history of the woolen industry in the Mississippi River Valley and its impact on the social, cultural and industrial development of the region, and The Diefenbunker, Canada’s Cold War Museum in Carp.

In between the tours we’ll be enjoying a tasty sit-down lunch at the Juke Joint Soul Kitchen in Carp.

When: Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm
Where:
Meet at 8:45 am at Arts Court, 2 Daly Avenue for a 9:00 am departure to Almonte by bus.
Cost: $35 per person includes round-trip bus transportation and all guided museum visits.

Please note: Lunch is not included in the price of the trip.
