The National Arts Centre was a centennial project, built to mark a major milestone in Canadian history.

On Canada Day, a new exhibit entitled "Architecture and National Identity: The Centennial Projects 50 Years On” opens at the NAC with a public lecture and guided tour of the exhibition.

The NAC's Rosemary Thompson will moderate a panel discussion including co-curators Colin Ripley and Marco Polo from Ryerson University, Donald Schmitt, principal architect of the NAC's 2017 rejuvenation, and heritage architect Barry Padolsky.

The event takes place on Wednesday, July 1 at 11:00am and the public is welcome to attend.

Please RSVP by June 29 to rsvp@nac-cna.ca .
