Did you know that Franco-Ontarians have deep historic roots in the heart of Canada’s capital? This tour of the Byward Market in Ottawa’s Lowertown West will focus on the architectural history of many of its beautiful franco-ontarien heritage buildings dating from the 19th and 20th centuries, including the important educational, religious and community-based institutions.
Please note: The tour ends in front of the High Commission of Malaysia at 60 Boteler Street (2 km from point of departure).
