HERITAGE OTTAWA
Meet the architects and hear the stories behind the 12 winning projects of the 2016 Governor General's Medals in Architecture, recognizing outstanding achievement in recently built projects by Canadian architects.
This free public talk takes place on Monday, September 19 from 6pm to 8pm at the Canadian Museum of History Theatre, located at 100 Laurier Street in Gatineau.
From a library that evokes a pile of books to one of the world's tallest timber structures, the winning projects include a factory, hospital, temple, aquatic centre, head office, amphitheatre, observation platforms, public square and more.
A series of lively 5 minute presentations by each winner will include images along with questions and answers.
