GivingTuesday is a global movement for giving and volunteering. This important initiative harnesses the generosity of people to bring about real change in their communities. It provides a platform to encourage the donation of time, resources and talents to address local challenges. 

We are asking you to help Heritage Ottawa meet our $40,000 fundraising goal BY MAKING A DONATION.

You can DOUBLE your impact! The first $20,000 raised starting on GivingTuesday will be matched by two generous patrons and the board of directors.

Your donation will help us to: 

• Intervene on behalf of hundreds of heritage properties at risk of destruction or inappropriate intervention.
• Encourage the integration of heritage resources into City Planning strategies as the sustainable choice for our neighbourhoods.
• Advocate for the legal protection of the Central Experimental Farm to prevent further encroachment and for the implementation of the federal Historic Places of Canada Act.
• Raise awareness about places that matter with our Walking Tours, Lectures, Field Trips, Publications, and more...
