The Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism is pleased to announce the next speaker in its Forum Lecture Series, taking place on Monday, January 12 at 6:00pm at The National Gallery Auditorium.
Renowned architect Douglas Cardinal is known for the distinctive flowing, curvilinear forms that characterizes many of his building designs including the Canadian Museum of Civilization ( since renamed the Canadian Museum of History ) and National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C.
Cardinal is an officer of the Order of Canada and the 1999 recipient of the Gold Medal of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the highest architectural honour presented to an individual in Canada.
The lecture is open to the public and admission is free.
