Conference sessions held at Ottawa City Hall will cover a range of urban and rural heritage issues. Optional activities include walking tours hosted by Heritage Ottawa, and visits to the historic Moore Farm Estate in Gatineau and the modernist Strutt House, recent recipient of a prestigious heritage grant from the Getty Conservation Institute.

The three-day event kicks off with a cocktail reception at the new Global Centre for Pluralism, and includes a gala dinner at the Canadian Museum of Nature on Friday evening featuring a keynote presentationby architect Barry Padolsky. On Saturday afternoon, Beth Hanna of the Ontario Heritage Trust presents a keynote address at Ottawa City Hall.

Hosted by a different city or town in Ontario each year, the annual conference typically attracts heritage professionals, activists and enthusiasts from across the province, providing an opportunity to network and meet others with common interests and concerns.
