Celebrate Heritage Day on February 17 by attending the Ottawa Architectural Conservation Awards!
Mayor Jim Watson, Councillor Tobi Nussbaum, Chair of the Built Heritage Sub-Committee, and the Planning and Growth Management Department invite you to the Ottawa Architectural Conservation Awards, recognizing outstanding restoration and conservation projects across the city.
DATE: Tuesday, February 17, 2015
Ceremony at 6 p.m., reception to follow.
PLACE: Horticulture Building, Lansdowne Park, 450 Queen Elizabeth Driveway

Awards will be presented in five categories:
- Restoration: Returning a heritage resource to its original form, material and integrity
- Adaptive Reuse: Adapting an old building for a new purpose while retaining its heritage character
- Infill: All new construction in a historic context
- Addition: New additions to historic buildings
- Other: This category could include engineering projects ( e.g. bridge restoration ) or landscaping projects ( e.g. restoration of historic gardens or parks )
