NEW TOUR – This walk will focus on some of the older sections of the cemetery, established in 1872, near Montreal Road and St. Laurent Boulevard, then move on to the centre of the cemetery, before returning to the entrance. You will discover the conceptual elements that define and characterize this heritage place. Participants will undoubtedly recognize the names of Ottawa pioneers and well-known citizens whose final resting place is in our region's most important Catholic cemetery.

GUIDE: Jean Yves Pelletier, Historical Resources Consultant, has a deep interest in the city's neighbourhood histories and heritage. He has led walking tours since 2003.
