Developed after Lowertown West on the east side of King Edward Ave, Lowertown East quickly became home to many immigrant families and businesses from all walks of life. Follow the sights, sounds, smells, and maybe even tastes of Lowertown East as you learn about life in one of Ottawa's most diverse neighbourhoods.

GUIDE: Mark Farine is a francophone teacher in Ottawa with a Master’s degree in history from the University of Ottawa. He is the author of numerous guided tours in Lowertown.
