NEW TOUR — In this, the centennial year of Sir Wilfrid Laurier’s death, we examine how the avenue that bears his name has changed since 1904 when an American writer described his walk from Nicholas St. to Strathcona Park. He wrote “I have never before seen, in any city, in any land, more people of prominence living in so small an area.”

GUIDE: François Bregha has lived in Sandy Hill for over 30 years. With a passion for history, he has collected numerous anecdotes about the famous people who once lived in the neighbourhood, which can be seen online at history.ash-acs.ca
